Young Fest - Space Rebel PrincessSuperhero Dance Party – Jennifer Essex (for 3-6 years) | 11am-12pm

In this fun dance workshop, we’ll explore our superhero selves. Faster than speeding bullets and able to leap tall buildings in a single bound, we’ll dance our way through a heroic 45 minutes.

Young Fest - ImproprietyImprovisation & Storytelling Workshop (for 7-11 years) | 11.30am – 12.30pm

Join Impropriety in making epic stories from nothing but your imaginations. Impropriety use improvisation games and exercises to create theatre on the spot.  All the exciting, strange, wonderful characters and stories you can create will be brought to life in this fully interactive workshop.

Young Fest - Space Rebel Princess

Space Rebel Princess – Jennifer Essex (suitable for 3-8 years – families welcome) | 1.00-1.30pm & 2.00-2.30pm

A young princess dreams of becoming an astronaut, but her parents have more aristocratic goals for her. With your help, she must leave her fears behind and boldly go where no princess has gone before!

Young Fest - Marcelo & Jordan Acro ChefsAcrobatics & Physical Comedy Workshop (for 8+) | 3.30-5pm

Polichinelo Circus specialise in Acrobatics and physical comedy and have performed, amongst others, for CBeebies. Marcelo and Jordan will be leading an acrobatics workshop full of Fun for all abilities.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Young Fest - The Rubbish Show

The Rubbish Show (suitable for all ages) | 1.30pm & 3pm

What happens to all the rubbish and where does it go? One person’s rubbish is another gain. From the world of consumerism we are left with waste, we have forgotten how to fix, mend and repair. Even people are forgotten about. Come with us on a journey into the rubbish to see what, who could be lying beneath the ground.

3rd year Arden students create their first outdoor piece of theatre.

Young Fest - Tmesis Play and MovePlay & Move – Tmesis Theatre (3-6 years) | 11am-12pm

Come and play, create, move, explore and get physical with Tmesis Theatre. Our session for 3 – 6 year olds will encourage active participation and interaction between children in a fun and relaxed manner.

Young Fest - Headstrung BeastMake a Monster – Puppet Making Workshop with Headstrung

7-11 yrs: 11am-12pm

3-6yrs: 1-2pm

Pop in and make a monstrous new friend, then invite them along to the monster disco!

Headstrung provide one of a kind puppet based entertainment for both adults and children. From puppet cabaret to loveable dancing beasts, Headstrung specialise in entertaining audiences young and old.

Artemis Productions | 12-2pm

Liverpool based Artemis Productions will be animating Bluecoat’s gardens with their nature inspired Bob and Gerry, an oversized flora and fauna duo and the incredible Praying Mantas…watch out they may be hungry! 

Artemis are a street theatre company that specialises in vibrant stilt walking characters and interactive performance.

Come and dance with the giant beasts! Bring your dancing shoes and your best moves and come and join the fun at the MONSTER DISCO! Fancy dress encouraged!
